Along with training, we've also been busy contributing to other causes and organizing fundraising events for cancer research.

Spreading Good Will and Cheer
Inspired by Yahoo!'s "You In" site we donated to each fundraising individual on the Lymphoma Society's Ironteam. Despite how difficult it is to put yourself out there to train and fundraise, we
just wanted to spread some good will and hope that these few donations would encourage fellow teammates to continue raising funds and make and impact on people’s lives. Some of teammates were delightfully surprised by the unexpected donation and touched by the gesture. It was great to see the ripple of smiles come across the team.
Fundraising: TNT Performance Pullover Tops and "Cookies for a Cause"
As part of our fundraising for cancer research we had "Cookies for a Cause" bakesale after
various team practices. ( Thanks Jenn for helping with the baking!) More successful has been
our fundrasier for Team in Training Performance Pullover Tops. We've been fortunate to sell
them to TNT winter, spring triathlon teams, run teams and many teammates on the Ironteam.

Ironteam Toy Drive for Cancer Patients
During the holidays season, we had a toy drive for the cancer patients at the childrens
hospital. These kids celebrated the holiday season in the hospital. Our honoree capt,
Kelly Harris, organized the collection in hopes that these toys would help lift their spirits
and offer them some joy during their treatment.
Ironteam Toy Drive for Children in Haiti
Though food, water and medicine were the main need after the earkquake in Haiiti. We also
had a stuffed animal drive for the Haitian children. We collected and sent these toys in hopes
that a few stuffed animals would help children cope with the recent disaster in their country. | Donate to the cause | Contact Us
